There’s one headline new feature this month - CRICOS Enrolments add-on - and a number of minor improvements.

This month’s release will be great news for those that take CRICOS enrolments. We have added the ability to record all the necessary data for international students enrolling in a course under a CRICOS contract.

When enrolling a student into a CRICOS course, you will now see an additional tab marked “International”

The September Truss RTO release is now being gradually deployed across our network.

This month's update introduces two brand new major features, the Student Merge Tool and Booking Options, as well as a range of minor improvements.

The next time you click on Student Database underneath Student Management in your left hand sidebar, you might see the following prompt:

Continuing our introduction to Truss RTO video series, today we will focus on on Delivering Certificates to Students and the QR Code validation process. Today’s video starts with a course that has already been run and is now in the “Awaiting Results” stage.

We begin on the dashboard screen, a common screen that you will be using often in your Truss RTO system, and search for the class in the “Classes awaiting Results” menu underneath “Class Management”. We have colour coded the sidebar for extra readability, and split the different management sections off into their own area. These sections can be locked down to specific users if need be.

Today’s Truss RTO introductory walkthrough video covers the basics of the Scheduled Email delivery system. This system is used to schedule the delivery of templated emails or SMS messages to students, trainers, co-providers or any other contact type stored in your Truss RTO system. It’s used to send out reminder emails and other notifications automatically, a set-it and forget-it email system that works for you.

This is the first in a series of blog posts that will highlight some specifics of how the Truss RTO software system works. Today’s video walks you through the complete online booking process for a short course from start to finish, exactly as a student would see it.

We start on the course booking calendar which shows a simple list of example short courses. If your RTO offers an array of short courses, units or programs, booking dates are separated by course type further down the page.

To help us continue our growth as we bring on more RTO clients and consolidate our product's functionality, we're looking for an Operations Manager.

Reporting to the Directors and the CEO, you'll have a hand in most day-to-day operations, whether in guidance, developing procedures, or monitoring.

This role would be perfectly suited for someone who has a long background in the RTO and/or software space, ideally with some sales experience (though note this is not a sales role!)

As every month from here on, we have a set of enhancements rolling out to our clients. There are a couple of larger items, and a few small adjustments.
